This is a must for cleaning any salt cell. Just screw it on to your salt cell and fill the cell with a 4:1 ratio of water to Muriatic Acid. (Add the 1-part acid to 4 parts water always). The bubbling action frees any calcium build-up and 5-15 minutes later, all the scale will be gone!  

It is much safer than dipping the unit in a bucket and you will use much less acid saving on cleanup and accidental spills. 

Always remember to test the seal with just water beforehand to make sure you have it screwed on tightly and correctly.
